Prismatic Wyrm

It takes a large amount of death and blood for a wyrm to evolve into a
Prismatic Wyrm. The deaths that occur are of the blackest nature. The
ritual of this evolution is for the wyrm to create a pool in their lair for
which to fill it with the blood of their allies and enemies. Then, after the
pool has been filled, the wyrm must then collect the corpses of a metallic,
a gem, and a chromatic wyrm.
Then the wyrm must grind the corpses into dust and sprinkle it into the pool
of blood. Then, after the pool is complete, the wyrm must hibernate in it
until the process is complete. During this slumber, the wyrm's body absorbs
the contents of the pool, which makes them extremely powerful both
physically and magically. This process usually takes up to a century to
complete, if not longer. When they awaken from this sleep, their scales
represent their fallen kin. The colors on the scales are white, green and
red that appear almost translucent, which is the main distinguishing feature
as a prismatic wyrm.
Their social status in the dragon community is highly respectable and feared
at the same time. When you see a prismatic wyrm in the presence of other
dragons, it is because it's either their leader or killing the other dragons
to gain control. The way that the bounty of pillaging is distributed is,
the Prismatic Wyrm takes what it sees fit, then the rest is taken by the
pecking order of the group. They only have two motives in life and they are:
to gain more treasure and more power.
