Captains are the most powerful shinigami, they answer to the Captain Commander
of the Gotei Thirteen Genryusai Shigikuni Yamamoto. All captains save one are
capable of using Bankai and they have mastered it to such a degree that their
full power is usable in combat. The most powerful Captain is Kenpachi Zaraki
of Squad Eleven although he is unable to use Bankai.
